Almost 7 Months

Our very good friends the Samuels brought the girls these quilts that Rilla and her mother made for them. They are so beautiful. I thought that I would post a few pictures of the girls enjoying them. Adelyn and Maryn continue to do well. They are 12.5 (Maryn) and 13 pounds (Adelyn) now. They started solids almost a month ago and seem to be getting the hang of it.

Bamma and Papa's Cottage

We were able to spend a week at the cottage before school got started. It was great to see family, especially Jenn, Alex and their boys Samuel and Ewan, since it had been years since we had seen them. The four boys did great together, which was fun to watch. Tubing was a big highlight, but swimming, swinging and playing in the sand were favourite activites for them too. It was the first time the girls had gone swimming. Adelyn loved it right away, but it took awhile for her sister Maryn to get used to. We made some wonderful memories.

Carriage Hills Resort

While Kevin was away at conferences in August, the kids and I joined my family for a week at Carriage Hills Resort. Uncle Steve and Grandpa planned a treasure hunt for the kids, which Finley is still talking about. This year they did video clues on Uncle Steve's ipad. The boys LOVED it! We also got to go to an adventure park, went swimming, made tied dyed shirts and a lot of other fun activities. It was great time.
